Yes, to Germany it was the same thing. 19% vat import tax on that Z8000 I bought from tony. 

It was still a better deal than new from Schneider's but surprised me a bit anyway. 

It's a good thing though. Otherwise I'd be tempted too often to buy used gear from the US...;-)
