Recommended Listening

Have to check that book out, I am a HUGE fan of Debussy.  Was just reading this:

Thanks a lot for the links. I'm listening to words and music all day long, so there is hardly ever the right time to listen when these links come in, but I'm very curious and will check the links out.

Are you familiar with the book "The Ambient Century"? a nice book that traces back the music genre (in the widest sense) to Debussy and beyond. Lots of great stories in there how things came together or/and developed.
