hmm...The machine drum either works for you or you will hate it. If
your looking for a warm drum machine, this is not it. It is also
terribly difficult to get a snare out of it that does not absolutely
suck.
Also, because of the way kits and patterns are associated with each
other (or rather, the way they arent), you sometimes get quite
unexpected results when you load up a pattern you saved using a
certain kit but then mucked around with the kit for another track down
the road. Also, there is no 'save pattern' or 'undo'. Your editing
LIVE. Every edit you make is automatically saved, so copy that
pattern to an empty slot if your happy the way it is before you edit
*anything*. Also, it is damn, damn, DAMN easy to fat finger and erase
your whole pattern when you thought you were copying.
That said, its a great box if you can forgive it a workflow encourages
insanity.
