E-ink pdf reader ?

As much as I love my Kindle, it is an awful PDF reader.  I wouldn’t
consider it even a possibility.  I bought the large screen one just for
this purpose and was sorely disappointed.  Luckily, it is aces as an ebook
reader.

I'm looking at an e-ink device to read technical pdf. It seems like the
kindle range is supposed to support them but has an awful lot of issues.
Some of the files I have are about 500+ pages



Would anybody have a recommendation ?
