Robert Ashley "Concrete"

I'm a big fan of Robert Ashley, a modern opera composer from NY. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Ashley)

He claims he is the oldest Ableton Live user in the world which is likely true (b. 1930!). 

Here is the opening piece from his "Concrete" Opera (2006), which will be staged in NY in April (but I'm afraid I won't make it…)
