Tony,

  I agree with you, I can see so many uses for this, and the fact that you can put the OS and any updates to code and FPGA images on an SD card make this a killer "main engine" for me. And rest assured anything I do won't look like a computer :)

  I can also see a lot of other uses, hell I've seen it running XBMC, that means I can replace my mac mini with a match box.
