Encoder Rot (was Re: Yamaha RM1x in need of love)

Actually I just checked and *both* A3000's I have, yours included, have now got completely melted decoder shafts.  Wow, WTF?  Gonna have to rack them both up together and use b.Zone from now on, it seems ..
