True, but I was referring to DB Schencker. Deutsche Bahn claims to be
the world's second largest transport company (after Deutsche Post, which
is 30% state-owned) and is 100% state-owned. In Europe, they're by far
the largest.
Fact of the matter is that the transport companies (not just by rail) in
the more temperate parts of Europe such as Germany, the Netherlands,
Belgium and England are not used to weather extremes, and yet these
extremes are becoming more and more prevalent due to climate change.
