Yeah - as a portrait, you see the genius and the unexpected streak of schoolboy 
humour that's been left too long out of the fridge....

much of what he said was based in a sincere desire to make people think 
critically in a culture (the USA in particular, but generally anywhere with 
television - the USA just got TV sooner than the rest of us) where one is taught 
otherwise. a lot of times, his words ring out loud and true, like his guitar solos.
