iPad Question - iTunes sharing

Under Settings->Music->Home Sharing on the iPad do you have your Apple ID entered? And obviously also in iTunes on the Mac with Home Sharing turned on? Sounds like you do, since the Windows laptop is seeing your library. I know I can see my entire library on my iPhone (& play tracks), but it doesn't show the shared/connected libraries/devices in the sidebar of iTunes.
