All this talk has me wanting a K2600 rack. Any thoughts? I’ve never used
a K series synth but I’ve always kind of wanted one. I can’t seem to find
any demos other than prog wank online. Anyone have any good links to audio
examples?

I already have cdrom (my k2000 has 3.87J system) . I've got one for my
A4000.

I've seen k2000vp originally came with Analog Synth Collection disks. Mine
came without anything..

Does any of you have these disks or their copies?

Marek

Tip: get a CDROM for it. With OS version 3 it can read samples off ISO9660.

Just got one! :)

Ha! I should start to have wishes more often ;)

The only thing is not ok is a bit broken bottom cover (where the screws
comes under corners).

Seems I need some broken K2000 for parts :)

Beside of this everything works perfect.

It's a nice Xmass gift for myself :)

Now I'm starting to hunt for sounds and samples :)

I see some on ebay in usa, but shipping to NL would be overkill….

If I'd have one then I would have good impulse to put my new home studio
together… :)

still need to find some cheap mixer for a start….

I have a K2000R on my desk right now!

I had the vx model and regularly check for them on ebay. Amazing
instruments.

I had one for a very brief period, was quite impressed but
circumstances required its, at the time, high value sale, and I was
sad every time I saw one around for a little while, but got over it.

It has this sort of weird surreal multi-streamed nature to it, very
hard to describe and its thus a unique sound. As ever, forget the
presets, even if you dont know what you are doing, finger-jabbing will
make it go off into willliiillldllddd territory. I really liked it.

However, if you dig into zynaddsubfx, and its many forks, you will
find quite a bit of a similar feel, I think.
