Seriously, why should I?

For a start, I'm not willing to spend the money nor the space on a 
modular that's actually worth it.

Assuming I did, I'd have a lot of fun creating all sorts of cool and 
weird sounds, but I doubt I'd ever get a proper piece done.

There is preciously little music out there that I enjoy and that really 
requires a modular to create. In contrast, there are lots of modular 
pieces out there that bore me to death because they are all about sound 
but not nothing else.

Conclusion: A modular would be geeky pleasure, but it wouldn't advance 
my music. The Nord Modular does just enough for what I need.
