you probably heard about it, but in case you didn't:

the Pirate party gained close to 9% of the vote for the Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus. The German Pirates are quite excited.

Amazing images last night on TV, after the party at the Pirate's headquarter, they cut to the FDP (the liberal democrats) who got kicked out of the 4th parliament this year already and only got 1.8%. The faces looked grey, and rather long and empty...
