I first learned programming on an Apple II. Can still remember almost the entirety of what I wrote, how it felt to be opening a door onto infinite wonders.

Thanks, Steve, for that. And later, for introducing aesthetics and extreme quality into a world where everyone thought that mere excellence was enough.
