I sold my 808 sometime ago and have missed it since. The sound was great but the lack of modern control and sync did not justify keeping it. The acid lab stuff looks interesting and could be a good contender. Not sure if I want to she'll out that much cash for one though. The machine drum sounds too sterile/thin for my taste.
