What I like about it:  Clean interface.  No advertising.  Very easy to
manage who sees what via circles

That said, I have been amazed by how fast people have been uptaking
it. Ive got as many connections there now as I do on facebook (well
almost) and its been almost exclusively the my tech friends and music
contacts that have been joining.

I think it does have a chance to take a significant amount of steam
out of facebook, or at least give them some (needed) competition.
