completely unrelated but very cute: today I read about a Chinese clarinet player who decided to come to Germany to study his instrument with the clarinetist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

His mentor is unable to pronounce his full Chinese name, so the student decided to call himself "Tiger Rheinböller" because it sounded "like Wagner".

(it's bad to have to explaing things, but in case you don't speak German, a Böller is a large firecracker, Rhein is a large river running throgh Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. Tiger is Mac OS X 10.4 for all you blissfully ignorant Lin/win users...)
