+1 !!!
I never was disappointed with RME on Mac or Windows ....
the thing is: firewire have lower bandwidth than PCI card ( or new one who
replace them on new computers: Ipci or Epci ? or something )...
So if you have a macbook go for firewire not usb (imo) if you have a
workstation/tower go for PCI ...
