Yeah - I read the Katz book, non-linearly! It's way too much information to 
integrate and apply in less than a few months. I found it just as interesting, 
from a biographical point of view, to read the words of someone who has been so 
successful in the music world. He does a good job explaining dither, which is as 
important to a mastering engineer as being able to read Egyptian hieroglyphs is 
to an egyptologist... if you have music with a wide dynamic range.

proceed with the mix that's sitting there right in front of your eyes.
