Well, here are the advantages I see in it:

1.  It provides a MIDI-CV function, so I can use it as a go between my
MIDI and modular
2.  Its configurable as 1x16 or 2x8 steps.
3.  It doesnt go into the modular case, so it saves space there.
4.  Its simple - I can pretty much understand its operation just by
looking at it.
5.  its actually relatively inexpensive when you look at either
building a sequence from modules, or buying something like an
Oberkorn.
6.  it looks well built.

So its probably going to be my sequencer once they hit the street.
