I've finally got my arse in gear and have done some work on the
synth.net domain.

I've installed some "community networking" software, with the aim of
trying to create a place for synth nuts to hang out, chat, and so on.
You can share your music, create groups, events, upload photos and all sorts.

It's still in it's infancy, but I'd value your opinions, suggestions
for improvements and support ;

One thing I've noticed, is that a few people are struggling with
profile pictures.
Here's the trick,
1. Upload a photo as  and then mark it as "private" if you wish (you
don't have to),
2. then view it and click "set as avatar" on the left hand menu.
3. Once his is done, you can delete the file if you prefer.

Marking them as private or deleting them will stop them appearing in
the "most recent pictures" when people go to the front page, unless of
course that's what you want :-)
