.. okay, building it remotely (no local Linux machine here) on one of my servers, ermm .. this synthesizer requires IRC.  wtf?  Could it be the long-hoped for dream of mine that synth patches will be shared live between users over IRC?  omfg .. can't wait to get back to my Linux machine ..
