Lol... When I was working with Jonny on the DFM1 port, I got slightly annoyed by the fact one couldn't do *any* dynamic memory assignment (neither malloc nor object instantiation) and then I twigged... it's got its own RT memory management, and the whole thing is as well-designed as any RT system I've seen.
Yeah - get the book.
