subnotebook/netbook w/ linux 4 electronic music?

I'd step up a notch to a 11" subnotebook.
Either MB Air or one of Lenovos x121 or Edge (or some other win pc maker).

As you're a student I'd guess you can get the Air for around €850 and a Lenovo would set you back around €400-500.
