I'm more of the opinion that it is directly caused by 'the system'.
It would help if this were better defined as, broadly speaking, the
judicial, legal, benefits and rules of society, which define what you,
allegedly, must do to be a good citizen. Shame a lot of it is utter
drivel and over-complex to bamboozle those unfortunate enough to be
schooled in bad areas and believe it all.
If all these kids and their parents were happy and satisfied with life,
there would be no widespread/dispersed outbursts like this. It's not
meaningless violence, it was even predicted to happen by none other than
Nick Clegg in 2010 if the Tories got in. So.. maybe he knows the
underlying reasons too?
How hard is it to keep everyone happy? It's not all about money.
A lot of frustration is caused by the feeling of powerlessness and
unfairness, whilst daily observing those in positions of authority
literally get away with incompetence, grand larceny, harassment,
violations on the innocent and murder.
Obviously, many here may not have been brought up on one of these
council estates, or in areas of deprivation hard hit by endless cutbacks
and facilities shutting down, no work (and being blamed for not getting
a job from all sides, including brainwashed family members) being
endlessly stopped in the street and searched by police under false
pretences etc., but, even many of those who are reasonably well educated
and financially stable are becoming rebellious toward many aspects of
'the system'. And with good reason.
"Broken Britain!" :)
Hey. I don't condone any of it, but I would not wish for the police or
army to start shooting with plastic bullets or real ones, like some
Daily Mail readers advocate. That may be even more disastrous than
shooting the first guy in the face as he was almost home in a taxi to
see his four kids.
It's instant word of mouth to the world of your peers these days via
technology. So easy to start, or even predict, a riot ;)
The only real solution is to cut out all the bullshit we're supposed to
believe (but I hope everyone now knows it is bullshit) and bring back
honour to politics, the truth in the police force and financial fairness
to the unemployed (don't stigmatise them at every opportunity, in other
words) and the sense of duty amongst the population will slowly
return... Either that, or shut down all the communications networks,
permanently, and put the whole country under curfew...
The general media doesn't really help at all in these situations.
Maybe listen to Iran's advice? ;)
Pretty soon, England will be invaded to quell the violence and install a
better (lol) leadership, after gratuitous amounts of bombing and black ops.
