Question on diaeresis / two dots Windows 7 /Apple keyboard / MBP

Strange word - sounds like diarrhoea...

Anyways, I can't for the love of God, get a diaresis symbol out 
of my Apple keyboard on Windows 7 (MBP - yes, I've heard all the 
jokes ;-). I've tried everything that I found on the net, but to 
no avail. It's really pissing me off.

Does anyone know what to do about this? Joost, Jay? Anyone...
