Bats and attics (was detectors)

We had a bat problem in our attic when we moved into our house - they
can do *nasty* damage, as their droppings are very toxic.
We had specialists out who installed 'excluders' in a few holes they
found, that allowed the bats to leave, but they couldnt get back in.
We havent had a problem since.
