Haven't actually played one, but that's cos I'm afraid I might *need* one if I 
did :) But I got a strong impression of the instrument - it's very subtle, and 
works so well because the sound and what you see (or feel, if you're playing) 
are deeply related.

Comparing it with an iPhone app, the iPhone, being multi-timbral, cannot project 
a specific idea by its presence, so the presence of an iPhone is always 
god-like, whereas the specific instruments that are physical, do not require 
occasional defragmentation.
