The biggest pile of shite about all this is that recycling actually 
reduces costs and makes a small profit for the councils and companies 
involved. Otherwise why would they even bother? So statutory penalties 
on top of doing your best is a kick in the teeth. And _none_ of these 
savings show up as reduced taxation, of course, council tax still rises 
by at least double inflation, even though we are expected to sort it all 
out for them, for nothing but the knowledge we might be slowing down the 
destruction of the planet by a few months ;)

Yeah, right, we know that confidence trick already.

All our bins from our properties are at the side of the road, grouped 
and not next to any individual property and with no house identification 
on them. In other words, they are treated as shared. Good luck fining 
any of us for improper use, at least we use them, the bastids! ;)
