I also had some audio glitch issues with my Remote 61 SL, and had to replace that with a Roland keyboard. But the main issue with Zero for me was the size.

I have the APC and Launchpad, and those two work great with Live. My current setup is basically Live, APC, LP, Maschine, and a C-Thru Music harmonic-table based controller. The nice thing about using the APC and LP with Live is that they were built for Live, so no more mucking around with setups and configurations. I used to have a Zero, before selling it, and one of the things I didn't like about it was it's size. Both the APC and LP put together seem to have a more slimmer footprint than a single Zero.

what else did you not like about the zero? I was thinking maybe of getting a zero or a remote SL 25 for just soft synth duty and leave the rest to the APC and launchpad
