Hmmm.. I can understand someone like FR messing up with something like this
(sure, they could have handled it better) but Moog are worst. The Voyager's
after touch was either on or off for the first 4ish years worth of units.
They absolutely knew about this, further more, it was nothing to do with the
stock keyboard they use, it was just their implementation.  So much so, they
then offered a fix kit which I believe was $400!

On a lesser scale, same problem with the panel back lights which hummed at a
high volume.  Again, they fixed this after a few years so clearly it was not
an impossible task.

The reason why this is less forgivable for Moog is their very name
represents "quality"; the after touch flaw is just crazy...

PS: the above is nothing to do with why I sold my Voyager - I don't actually
get hung up about these sort of flaws, its just that it is relevant to this
conversation..
