Actually, I have 2x5D's (one of them MkII). I sometimes use one 
5D with the 28 mm and the other with the 50 mm, so no cropping 
effects.

On the 400D, the 28 mm is almost like a " normal"  lens and the 
50 mm is a light tele :-)
