But don't be frustrated.

The fastest released version of the 4 cores versions runs at 1.82 Ghz
(i7-840QM). When TurboBoost is enabled, 2 cores are disabled on-the-fly in
order to reduce power consumption.

Apple should have their reasons for releasing the 2.66 Ghz version of the
2-cores version. In terms of average CPU performance, it's probably a better
choice, considering that most of the software still use only 1 core for
intensive CPU tasks.
