I noticed it was also doing it when I clicked the activator button on the effect with the mouse. I was turning beat repeat on and off (repeat button active and Insert selected.) If I turned chance to 0 and mapped the repeat button to a knob I get the same effect as turning it on and off but without the clicks. Maybe it's just that particular effect since it creates an audio buffer.
