well I don't think anyone is buying an iPhone right now just for music  
production- the idea is there is a crapload of people that already  
have them, why not use them for some musical inspiration, no one is  
calling this a pro studio affair. Plus being able to get an iPhone for  
$99 or a touch for $199 is not that expensive these days. I mean  
really, one can write songs on their $199 portable music player,  
that's just awesome.

No your just old, hah. Why limit it though, if you want it to solely  
be just for com, so be it no one is forcing you, but if your say  
sitting on an airplane why not let it be something else. Or just in  
the middle of the day for an hour, you calls will ring through. Or why  
not turn off the phone functions for an hour, we did live once without  
constant communication and we are still here.
