Happy New Year, Gang!

Jean-Luc, 6 years old and on the autistic spectrum, was very excited
and couldn't sleep. I asked him why.
JL: "Because it's New Year's..."
Me: "Eve?"
JL: "Yes. Today is the last day of 2009, and tomorrow is the first day
of 2010. And on the third day of 2010..."
*Ouch*
"...we go home again."

...and he won't see his beloved Dutch grandparents for several months.
Such is the dilemma of emigrating. He wanted to know when he would see
them again, and he'll keep track using a calendar.

But now he told them when asked that he would be happy to go home again.
