Well. After digging about (this '360 is a lot more complicated than the
original) I believe my V1 console to be one of the earliest models and
has not been flashed with an upgrade beyond such and such version, so
plonked some tokens on one of these:

There is a slim possibility this won't work, but it is still a useful
tool as it can read off the data to extract the keys so that broken
consoles can be resurrected even if the DVD or Mobo is frazzled.
Could have done this from the Parallel port without spending any tokens,
but can't find a cable and this is cleaner.
What homebrew stuff is there?
Bunch of emulators...
Games complete running off hard drive..
