Right after he passed away a label, that I can't remember the name of, put out a 
whole lot of the good stuff on vinyl, which I bought :-).  Super cool stuff.  
The musicianship of his band, the material and the vibe were so out there.

my my. Why did it take me so long to discover this music???

All I ever knew was the usual stuff like "Get up (I feel like being a) Sex 
Machine" and thought it was overplayed in clubs and at parties. But in the 
larger context even those pieces makes sense to me now.
