Inception

Huh, I didn't even listen to the score, it made barely any impact on
my whatsoever.  Curious how many people say the score was amazing.. I
guess I'll have to have another listen next time I encounter the movie
(probably not for years, until it shows up on TV ..)

Kai - I have indeed seen quite a few of Ulrich Seidl's films ..
Hundstage, Nachtschnecken and so on .. pretty dark stuff indeed, and
after almost 5 years in Austria, I can definitely appreciate /some/ of
the humor/reflection.  However, living as I do among the burgeouis
types depicted in Hundstage, I suppose my opinion is still pretty
"blah" .. films just don't seem to have as big an impact on me as they
once might have.

The last film I really enjoyed?  Hmm .. I really can't say, honestly,
that I've got any film in mind that really impacted me.  I guess the
one about Tesla was pretty good, forgot its name already .. you see?
I have become immune/indifferent to this aspect of our modern culture
such that I can't even remember the names of these movies.

That said, I'd love to be enlightened about more good movies.  Just,
not mainstream stuff, which I find terribly tripey these days.  I
enjoyed "The Discrete Charms of the Bourgeousie" last time I watched
it, for example ..
