Good quote!!

The word "intelligent" in any genre can usually be replaced with:

- watered down
- made accessible for people that don't really like music
- made accessible for people that live in the suburbs and work in banks
(lets move on from that one!)
- Moby-ised
- freckin dull

..the same can be said when two genres combine, eg: Acid Jazz.  But with
combining, you take the least offensive characters of each genre, apply all
of the above, then combine resulting in something that almost disappears
into the ethos/is totally invisible..

PS: Punk + Disco are obviously the exception..
