The flashing lights and sequencer-related stuff the guy on the left is doing 
looks (to me) amazingly cool.

Not sure about the instrument - it kind of falls down when you're hearing 
guitar-like sounds from buttons - a bit like how guitar synths fall down (I 
think) when someone starts playing a sax solo or a piano part on them.

would be interesting to see how such an instrument goes down at gigs
