I think you'll find that if the gaussian of the modulation index of the former 
is less than the bandwidth of the latter (assuming a statistically uniform 
frequency hopping pattern of n frequencies about pi/2 of the difference in 
centre frequencies of the channels), then provided it isn't raining, probably 
you'll be alright.
