My problem with redrum is that it duplicates a hardware interface to
the point of stupidity.  3 velocity levels?  only 16 steps visible at
a time?  very limited drum channel slots?   only certain slots can be
'grouped'?  All of that is stupid in 2009.

Now, all that goes away if you use the step sequencers or run it from
the built in sequencer and forget the pattern generator.  But then
again.....I HATE the sequencer...
