Portable recorders

Thinking about getting one of these for recording samples. I know this  
has been discussed before but don't have access to my mbar archives  
right now. Any recommendations?

Looking to use it to record interesting samples mostly for percussion  
purposes. Probably not going to do a ton of out of the studio field  
recording but thought something like this would be easier to record  
samples around the house vs. buying a regular ol' microphone.
