Headphone recommendations?

Not directly. They are connected to my mixing desk. The cable would probably not be long enough to reach the back of my computer under the desk.

Still, whether 1m or 1.5m long, this is too short to allow me to move freely in my studio, even though it is quite small.

Yes I was. Unless I'm missing something, using a non-standard connector on the other side of the cable would render it pretty useless, no ?
I find it particularly annoying when manufacturers use non-standard connectors (is anything wrong with mini-jacks?), because the cable is generally what breaks first. Of course it is even worse when the cable is soldered to the phone.
