Question: What PC/audio interface

Hi guys,

Friends of mine (a band) want to start recording their material 
in their rehearsal room. They also want the possibility to record 
drums (software mostly) to be able to play those when the drummer 
is not available.

What computer (they are PC guys) and audio interface (brand) 
would you advise for:

1. Stereo recording (2 inputs)
2. Multitrack recording (drums, bass, guitar, vox).
