Live 7 was pretty awesome with its external instruments and drum racks
(though they may have been Live 6?  cant remember).

Live 8 adds pretty much the last things I was feeling I missed -
Grouping of tracks and enhanced MIDI editing.  I havnt downloaded the
beta yet, but I will certainly be upgrading.
