It's sad, really. He was thrown into performing as a child, and I don't
think he ever had a chance to grow up as the rest of us had.

Whether the allegations of child abuse were true, we'll never know, but
given his history, and the way everybody was after his money, I'm willing to
give him the benefit of doubt.

What remains is his enormous influence on popular music; heck, popular
culture even.
