I find Vista visually nicer, and there are clearly some improvements on 
the explorer (file manager) side. I don't use the other niceties 
(sidebar, tablet integration etc.) much. The applications run just as 
well on either, at least as long as you have the graphics capabilities 
to run the modern UI. I guess you'd be happy with either.
