Yeah, I think its definitely a sign of progress .. and I've lately  
been thoroughly enjoying hacking around with Linux audio .. again ..  
I'm enjoying, particularly, how everything just seems to work in a  
sensible fashion .. I bought a few USB-MIDI cables, and they just  
worked - plugged them in, off we go .. Faderfoxes instantly alive and  
functional.

Just waiting for the Korg controllers to show up, and I'll be making a  
netbook-based portable jamming configuration for the weekly jams ..  
I'm finally embracing Pc-based music-making, albeit strictly with  
Linux audio ..
